It has been suggested that Burke was gone the next morning as well - - replaced by some alien form.. That theory has the aliens taking both kids to the basement, accidentally killing JonBenet when she wouldn't cooperate. Burke saw that and cooperated - his replacement got a good home and THAT is what we saw on Dr. Phil.
