Patsy asked the doctor what they might do to get rid of the spots because in a few days they had a photo shoot scheduled in a few days. Personally, I don't have a problem with that - - I expect she was told time would take care of it and nothing was going to speed it up - - and that she would have to decide if it would be best to postpone the photo shoot. But the way Linda told the story, Patsy was doing something.... I don't know, negligent?
If she let the child be barefoot when she was sick - or if she bundled her up excessively that summer day - - Hell, whatever she did it could be twisted into something negative. Which is just what Peter Boyles and his friends did. I remember the time and they were shameless.
