BOULDER - Boulder police are warning residents of a man they believe is responsible for a string of home burglaries in the neighborhoods of Goss Grove, University Hill, downtown and the area of 14th and Pine Streets.
In one of the burglaries, which occurred Sunday in the 1500 block of 9th Street, the female victim was asleep in her bed and was awakened by an unknown man touching her leg. The man left the home when she confronted him. She was not injured.
Boulder police are also investigating other cases in which the suspect or suspects have entered homes through unlocked doors and windows while many of the victims were home. In some of the cases, cash and electronics were stolen. In other cases, nothing was taken. Several of the victims confronted the burglar, who fled before police were notified. None of the victims has been hurt.
