Jan 26, 1997 · He was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. Jessica Schaffner, 11, lived on the same block as JonBenet Ramsey. On Nov. 14, 1972, she was walking with a friend when Peter R. Fisher abducted the two. He sexually assaulted both girls and shot them, killing Schaffner. He was arrested immediately.
