Lin Wood is a libel lawyer, a good one.  He could not care less about using the files to advance the investigation or solve this.  Not his thing at all.  His files are unavailable unless there is a law$uit in play. 

He and I do not exchange Christmas cards.

(I released this in a recent email and want to post it so it can never be treated like some secret position.  Just being careful.)
