In October of 1999 the marble slab of JonBenet’s grave had been vandalized. Using a red marker, an unknown person wrote “No justice in the U.S.A.” just days after DA Alex Hunter announced that he would not be pressing charges against John or Patsy Ramsey after the 13 month grand jury investigation.
This would not be the only incident someone had written a message on JonBenet’s resting spot. During an interview with Larry King, John and Patsy went with the film to the cemetery in Marietta, Georgia where they found another message. This time “Daddy did it” was written on a bottom corner of the slab, also in red marker.
